Take Charge of the D-Cycle® and turn that frown upside down

Life-changing

Did you know 300 million people around the world have depression, according to the World Health Organization. It’s estimated that 15 percent of the adult population will experience depression at some point in their lifetime.  Only 1 in 5 people living with depression seek help. Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. The stigma surrounding the subject of mental health is the biggest barrier to people seeking treatment. Loretta Parker shares her story about living with depression and breaking through the D-cycle. She will introduce the D-Cycle®: “Depression starts with disappointment. Disappointment leads to despair. Despair leads to destructive behavior.”

Attendees will learn practical tools on how to break the depression cycle and get the help that they need.

Through this engaging and entertaining keynote your attendees will learn tools to help:

  • Transform disappointment through self-compassion.

  • Transform despair through connection with others.

  • Transform destructive behavior through seeking help.
